William Byron Hints at Lego HMS Partnership Overall winner of the Daytona 500 Despite being famous for how well he runs, William Byron has a love that many people might not expect. When Byron isn’t racing at crazy high speeds in NASCAR (up to 195 mph on a regular basis), he relaxes and expresses his talent by building with LEGO bricks. Driving Hendrick Motorsports’ famous #24 car isn’t just a pleasure for the driver; it’s a big part of who he is and sets him apart from his peers.

Yet, Byron’s journey into the realm of LEGO construction wasn’t a calculated move. It unfolded organically, gaining widespread attention thanks to NASCAR’s Netflix documentary and the whirlwind media frenzy following his triumph at Daytona. This newfound exposure piqued the interest of LEGO Group and Hendrick Motorsports, sparking discussions of a potential collaboration. Byron himself hasn’t ruled out the possibility, suggesting that they’re actively exploring avenues to bring LEGO car models to life and even hinting at innovative design concepts that could revolutionize the sport.

“Yeah, I mean we’re working on it, for sure,” Byron remarked. “I’d love to have a LEGO car out there. I think they do so many unique things with that design. Certainly, still going to build.. need to work on my next project here soon. I have some ideas. They are going to send me quite a few sets, so that’ll be nice. No more eBay.. I usually go on eBay and get the LEGO sets because they’re backordered.”

While nothing is official yet, talks between HMS and the Danish toy business point to a possible partnership that would be a fitting tribute to Byron’s historic Daytona win.

Byron isn’t just interested in LEGO for fun; it’s a passion that has taken over his mind and inspired him to be creative. Byron’s love for building LEGO models knows no limits. He has built detailed race cars, replicas of NASA spacecraft, and even the 53-inch long Titanic model, which is the biggest LEGO model ever.

Building LEGOs isn’t just a hobby for Byron; it’s a form of therapy for him. It’s a way to relax after a stressful day of racing and a source of energy in his otherwise hectic life. The possible partnership between William Byron and LEGO is still being talked about behind the scenes. It looks like it will be great for both companies, combining creativity, innovation, and a shared drive for greatness.
