JGR Alternate Logo Honors_ Joe Gibbs Racing (JGR), a NASCAR Cup Series contender, will remember its late co-owner, Coy Gibbs, with a secondary logo. The team lost Coy Gibbs, who helped JGR win NASCAR’s premier national series. The new logo for the team’s motocross division, which Coy Gibbs quietly unveiled during the offseason, pays tribute to his legacy. The replacement logo matches the present logo and has been used on NASCAR Xfinity Series vehicles. It will be used in the Cup Series this season.

JGR Chief Commercial Officer Eric Schaffer accidentally spotted the logo among old motocross sketches. The emblem gained meaning when it was found that Coy Gibbs developed it for the motocross team. Schaffer encouraged Coach Gibbs and the Gibbs family to use the alternate logo as a poignant tribute to Ty Gibbs’ father because he loved its unusual style. Unlike the team’s design, Coy Gibbs’ new logo represents his love of motocross.

Bobby Labonte, a NASCAR champion, is returning to Joe Gibbs Racing as a brand ambassador and adviser. Labonte, a NASCAR Hall of Famer and Cup Series winner, will handle JGR’s operations and represent the team. Coach Gibbs was happy about Labonte’s comeback, demonstrating his importance to the team’s success. Labonte shares his passion for racing, works with partners, and interacts with fans on social media and in public appearances.

The team’s performance at this crucial event will be widely observed, especially after recent events like the addition of the Coy Gibbs alternate logo and Bobby Labonte’s well-publicized comeback as a consultant.

Joe Gibbs Racing is commemorating their late co-owner, Coy Gibbs, by presenting a different logo that was originally designed for the motocross squad. The logo shows how JGR will always remember Coy Gibbs. The article discusses Bobby Labonte’s victorious return to JGR and how he helped shape the team’s successful history. With the NASCAR Cup Series season and JGR’s Shriners Children’s 500 participation in mind, the article discusses the team’s intentions and progress.
